One-way Base Fare
The FrontRunner One-way Fare cash payment is good on FrontRunner commuter rail with transfer to all buses, TRAX and Streetcar for two hours and 30 minutes from the time of purchase. The fare applies to passengers ages 6-64. This fare is distance based with a base fare of $2.50 for travel to one station plus $0.60 for each additional station. The maximum fare from Provo to Pleasant View is $10.30 one way. Note that passengers traveling through the North Temple station will not be charged for an additional station. This is not a free fare zone and passengers are still required to pay the FrontRunner base fare. Purchase FrontRunner one-way fare prior to boarding at a ticket vending machine.

Uta Frontrunner Utah Schedule
SALT LAKE CITY — The Utah Transit Authority on Friday announced it will temporarily reduce service beginning Sunday, April 5, in an effort to limit the spread of the novel coronavirus. In a statement, the agency said preliminary numbers show bus ridership is down 56%, FrontRunner ridership has dropped approximately 75%, TRAX ridership is down.

The FrontRunner Roundtrip cash payment is good on FrontRunner commuter rail with transfer to all buses, TRAX and Streetcar. At the time of purchase, each ticket will be validated by the ticket vending machine and can be used for one roundtrip that day. This fare applies to passengers ages 6-64.

To use your UTA FAREPAY card on fixed route buses, streetcars, TRAX and FrontRunner, tap your card on a card reader located at rail stations and on bus doors when you are boarding and tap off as you exit. When transferring between TRAX lines (i.e. Blue Line to Red Line), only tap card at first and last TRAX stations. UTA employees, their spouses and dependents under the age of 23 (still living at home) can ride on UTA buses, TRAX and FrontRunner free of charge. Health and Wellness Center The Health and Wellness Center is a free on-site clinic for insured employees and their dependents with no deductibles, no copays and no cost for select generic medications. In a perfect world, the Utah Transit Authority would love to double-track and electrify its FrontRunner commuter rail system to allow trains to run every 15 minutes and operate more efficiently.
